I hate that you walk away
Right when I need you
You look at me with nothing to say
And I'm standing there wondering what you want me to do
We exchange some glances
A couple words...
The love we built slowly enhances
And it's changing my whole world
You held me tight
Wouldn't let me go
I'll never forget this night
And I'll never you'll know
As much as I wanted it too, it didn't take away the pain
So I slipped in the liquor
Felt it breathing through my veins
It was nice...soothing.
And you would kill me if you knew..
Doesn't matter...it's my life, what I choose to do
I quit for you, I hid for you...
**** this...I'm done running
It's the trigger your holding..all you have to do it pull it
And you don't even realize..but I know your full of it
We made it this far...but baby I'm still young
Looking up at the stars..and I don't know what I'm running from
Reality? Maybe.
Truth? Maybe.
Hate? Save me.
Love? Chase me.
Chase me from the depths of what I thought I knew
I'm sorry I'm not who you want me to be
No, I take it back...and excuse me if this seems rude,
But I am who I am...so love me for me.
Because, well...I love you for you.
