[title] => Money – The root of the Evil Tree (Next to the evil religious bushes and shrubs)
[time] => 2005-07-22 09:19:23
[hometext] => Please read this poem, it has relevance to everyone - important read
[bodytext] => If I had a tree it would be a money tree And I would burn it up for all to see Love is rich and whats poor is money Watching a starving girl die just isn’t funny People spend like no tomorrow Forget about poor people’s sorrow In this country theirs money to borrow Will it ever end, I can honestly say I dunno But if I had control of our chaotic system Life would exist without a problem Because my heart is full of good intentions I’d do away with man-made weapons No war could be fought or lost Cos’ each life comes with a great big cost Jesus, Lord Jesus, are you the key ‘No my child, don’t follow me’ ‘My quest was not what they say’ ‘I wanted a world without hurt from money’ ‘But they used me, they abused me and even confused me’ ‘I was your leader until the deciever had his way with my life’ ‘And I am a symbol for all to surrrender to’ ‘Well everyone now exept for you’ ‘So take these words which I display for you, and grip them close to your heart’ ‘RELIGION AND MONEY HAVE PLAGUED THIS WORLD RIGHT FROM THE START’ ‘The only religion in this existence is life’ Anything else would cause trouble and strife. - Thanks for reading my passionate poem about Religion and money, appologies to anyone who is offended by my perception of Jesus and the content of his views. - Remember one thing, if all humans only had one religion, religious wars wouldn’t exist, divisions would be at a minimum and above all, EVERYONE ON PLANET EARTH WOULD HAVE THE SAME ONE THING IN COMMON.
