Array ( [sid] => 10160 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Grace [time] => 2003-01-10 20:20:00 [hometext] => This poem is dedicated to my grandfather. He was like a father through out the majority of my childhood. He died when I was 20 years old. Even though he is gone, he is still one of my main sources of inspiration and hope. He may be gone physically. But spiritually he will remain in my life for eternity. [bodytext] => When I looked in your eyes,
And seen the beauty from within.
Hope wrapped its arms around me,
There was no fear of sin.

I sat and watched you move,
Admired all your grace.
I couldn't ever imagine,
Being in any other place.

The honor, respect, and love,
Is still as strong today.
Though it has been two years,
Since you passed away.

You have been my teacher,
For all that is pure and good.
Sometimes things have been left unsaid,
But never misunderstood.

You may be not here,
But you're in an even better place.
And all I have to do is close my eyes,
When I want to feel your grace [comments] => 3 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 23 [informant] => capergirl_23 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => FamilyPoems )
