Little brown book, just sitting alone,
What wonderous things your creator did know.
Oh, little brown book, though tattered and broken,
Contains pages of hope and courage not spoken.

This little brown book can shine a light
That can even be seen in the darkest night.
That light gently leads souls to it,
And they are comforted by the Holy Spirit.

This little brown book has gained much fame,
If you do not already know, the Bible is its name.
Its God's written word for you and for me,

Little Brown Book

Little brown book, just sitting alone,
What wonderous things your creator did know.
Oh, little brown book, though tattered and broken,
Contains pages of hope and courage not spoken.

This little brown book can shine a light
That can even be seen in the darkest night.
That light gently leads souls to it,
And they are comforted by the Holy Spirit.

This little brown book has gained much fame,
If you do not already know, the Bible is its name.
