Array ( [sid] => 101504 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Forbidden [time] => 2005-07-18 11:40:10 [hometext] => When you love something that is forbidden... you can do nothing, but let it go... [bodytext] => My eyes mourn over the death of a memory,
Bitter ejaculations of sweet sorrow…
I still taste your saccharine kiss,
Your succulent tongue of unbridled desire,
Your hidden soul full of endless mystery…
I still taste and feel

YOU,

Completing every part of me…
Reality, with her thousands of ugly masks,
Slaps me hard in the face,
Her black laughter tormenting me as all of my illusions wither away,
Like the lunar rose that once bloomed inside my soul…

My heart is pregnant with love,
Eternal adoration meant for a poet’s perfect dream,
And when slumber steals my consciousness without asking,
You are the only one I see…

Your essence perfumes my clothes,
I can smell it at night, when recollections of you are most vivid…
I am adorned with white whispers of your gaze,
Trembling as the seduction of your words caress every curve,
Like your tender hands with the colorful voices…

Oh, such searing pleasure, such tantalizing ecstasy…

The torrents of memory beat me senseless,
And the mirror shatters with a last sigh of, “I am you…”
As I lay, battered and broken by the iron fists of truth…
I cannot have you,
Nor can you have me,
The way we both want each other…

Trouble, beyond any mortal comprehension,
Languishes confidently on Future’s throne,
Waiting for weasel eyes to discover us in the throws of passion,
And like a child who had snot for lunch,
Point towards us with a green finger and scream, “Death!”

Could I, with my baby hands, 200 year old eyes, and dying pen,
Express to you just how much it kills me to tell you…
We must end this…
Could I, with my bleeding eyes and wilting heart,
Turn away from your luscious kiss?
Not perish sweetly under your infinite stare?
Shrug with indifference as you touch my flesh?

No… I can’t.
I can’t stop loving you,
But I’m loving something prohibited,
I am dancing the forbidden dance,
And as much as it entices me with its flirty glances and pouty lips,
Its promises of all-consuming gratification,
For both of our sakes, I must untangle myself from this mutual lust…

I made the appointment today,
At 2:45 a.m. (Insomnia still plagues me…)
My heart will have an abortion…
All that will be left is a tattered womb of taboo desires,
And another worthless fetus of a love that couldn’t be…

All i can say is to call this a poem would be
would be an insult, and a masterpeice would be to reduntant, i'll call it as i see it, and i base my coment on your headding in the

subject explanation, 4get your writting ability

that in it self would equal a renissance

paiting, but the tittle and the wisdom " when

you love somthing that is forbidden, you can

do noting but let it go " to bad eve didn't

possed this wisdom we might not be in the

mess were in today, be that as it may in a

phrase? " TRUTH" of biblical a

proportion . . .

WOW I AM AMAZED! The extended use of
metaphors was just mind-boggling. I don't
know what to say because your talent just
leaves me quaking in awe. I can relate to the
insomnia that you often write about since I
haven't been getting much sleep either. Yeah
this was just a gem of a write.
