· How is the list generated?

Answer

The list is updated every hour, those sites who have signed up, and sent traffic to the Top Sites List, will be listed here in their ranking in relation to the other sites listed. The sites rank is worked out on the average number of hits sent each week. This is calucuated by the total number of hits the site has sent since they signed up, and divide that by the number of weeks their account has existed. If two or more sites have the same average, these are then worked out on other (hits out/week and ratings etc) criteria.

· Why did/has the list been reset to zero?

Answer
Each month, the lists will be reset to zero, this will give every site a fair chance at reaching obtainable positions on the lists. [ Back to Top ]

· I have signed up, but my site does not show up on the list?

Answer
Once you have signed up, you will be sent a small piece of code, you will need to place this code on your site, and test it. Once it has been tested, and the list has undergone its hourly re-ranking process, your site will show on the list. Until you test the link, or one of your visitors click on the link, you will not show on the list. [ Back to Top ]
