I thought it was so clear,
But everytime I looked in the mirror,
I knew it wasn't true,
And I'm only hurting myself,
By loving you!

I thought everything was perfect,
I thought I loved you,
But I don't,
I'm not sure what happened,
I don't know why either.

But you have to realize,
That I'm hurting you,
By pretending,
I know how powerful those words are,
Yet I went and did this stupid s**t again,
I can't hurt myself anymore!

I'm sorry for everything,
I'm sorry I lied,
I can't change what happened to us,
And I can't pretend it never happened.... I loved you,
I thought it was so clear,
But everytime I looked in the mirror,
I knew it wasn't true,
And I'm only hurting myself,
By loving you!

I thought everything was perfect,
I thought I loved you,
But I don't,
I'm not sure what happened,
I don't know why either.

But you have to realize,
That I'm hurting you,
By pretending,
I know how powerful those words are,
Yet I went and did this stupid s**t again,
I can't hurt myself anymore!

I'm sorry for everything,
I'm sorry I lied,
I can't change what happened to us,
And I can't pretend it never happened....
