To mark those forgotten days
Of when it was just you and your friend
Hanging out and chillin’
Now you feel sad and remorseful
Because rested is his soul

Never had the chance to tell him how you feel
But now the feeling is even stronger
‘Cause your need for him lasts even longer

To yourself you said I’ll tell him, someday
Well his days were counted and alone you stay
Nothing you can do now
Except sit and pray, for his spirit
Because you love him but you fear that you’ll never see another love again

So don’t forget to tell of the love that you might have for your special friend
And promise yourself that by the day ends you will tell him
And he will know
And hopefully together you two will grow

It’s too late
To mark those forgotten days
Of when it was just you and your friend
Hanging out and chillin’
Now you feel sad and remorseful
Because rested is his soul

Never had the chance to tell him how you feel
But now the feeling is even stronger
‘Cause your need for him lasts even longer

To yourself you said I’ll tell him, someday
Well his days were counted and alone you stay
Nothing you can do now
Except sit and pray, for his spirit
Because you love him but you fear that you’ll never see another love again

So don’t forget to tell of the love that you might have for your special friend
And promise yourself that by the day ends you will tell him
And he will know
And hopefully together you two will grow
