A chance to forget
The painful past
And prepare for
A new beginning

A time for resolutions
An opportunity for resurrection
A vow to know better
And do better too

Hoping there be no wars
Wishing there is peace
Tolerance and brotherhood
Praying for only peace

Lonely souls sitting up
Hope of new friendships
Forming and blossoming
Into loving relationships

Let all our hopes be justified
May this New year Be
As fruitful as our heart desires
Let all our wishes come true
Happy New Year to all
