We only know the direction it comes from
We are so lost and our dreams are forgotten
Like the dust swept from the doorway of our home

We hold the dreams with in our hands as their dying
We watch the dust of them fall down unto the ground
We hold back tears to keep our eyes from crying
and yet we cry when no body is around

The roses fade with the coming of winter
The sparkle in the eye soon becomes dim
We search for hope and an anchor to hold to
but there are storms forming on every horizon

The tall oak sheds it's leaves their forgotten
The night time comes and it always stays
The old men lay in their tombs
epitaphs recall their fame
but dead man's bones reside with in their graves

The wind is gone and is soon forgotten
We only know the direction it came from
The sun goes down and is soon forgotten
We live in hope another sunrise may come

We live in hope another sunrise may come

I live in hope...another sunrise...may come [comments] => 8 [counter] => 203 [topic] => 34 [informant] => Archie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Forgotten

The wind is gone it is fleeting and forgotten

I live in hope...another sunrise...may come
