that love is the rain that is cold
listen in silence, be told the violence
that heartbreak is achingly old

i don't want a stain, showing cold pain
so keep cold hands off my heart
with dark lakes under, sharks make me wonder
is depression the egg of my art?

want pictures to see, with dead pigs trying to flee
from trees that do grab at the skin
a sky black and blue, shaped clouds around you
the disease is what eats you within

she is a calm heart, he is a gone heart
love is what makes us believe
she is in heartache, he is the hearbreak
love is what we will grieve...
