[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => Sweet God taketh my talent, if It not be for thee
I cannot, shall not, speak love's word
If it not be for thee sweet love.
Tis' not the spring that blooms sweet scented flowers?
I ask thee, why be winter in such temperate seasons?
Tell me sweet love, tis' not the sky that holds the stars?
I ask thee, why does sweet love's face gaze downward?
Thine low temper hadst not welcome me into thine heart
Hadst it pushed thou heart away from me, and fallen.
Impatient, yet I wait, thou love is soon to mark it's mark,
and thou summers be warm again.
