THATS NOT HOW LOVE IS SUSPOSED TO BE.

i have no one to share this special day with to love on hold tight,
so i make the choice to spend it with the ones i love,
so small and loving, nothing can take them from me,
this is what my VALENTINES day will be,
with those aged 6, 1, and 3
the children i love deeply
who will always be part of me
even if i did not give them life,
in my life they will always be

i sit here all alone dreaming of a loved filled day,
nothing but me and that special one, loving all cares away
but that dream may not come true this year
