Being a victim no more.
Rage against being discreet,
Tearing the dark from your soul.

Knowing my names not enough,
You must know my face as well.
Hold up your hands and stand tough,
Blocking the gates down to hell.

What you have done in the past,
May be your debt in the end.
Never an eye downward cast,
You’re only charge to defend.

Speak of these things you have done.
Cleansing your soul of their weight.
Speak ‘till the dawn of the sun,
Watch as it burns out the hate.

Then in the mists of your dreams,
See me, as I will be there.
Cover your ears to the screams.
Cover your breath to the air.

Run from me though I’m a god,
Take from the taker of all.
Feel me though feeling is odd,
Deep in the night you will call.

Call to me though you do fear,
What may become of your soul!
Dry away your final tear,
Now that you know of my goal!

I am the stripper of sin.
I’m the consumer of pain.
After you pass through my grin,
You will be whole once again.

Penance is vi’lence of soul.
But for your future I must,
Tear ev’ry fiber from whole.
First I must ask, “Do you trust?”

For all this work I must do,
Won’t change a thing if you’re cold.
You must be born here anew.
Born here with something to hold.

Something of pleasure and pain.
Something to balance your day.
Something to lose and to gain.
Something to show you the way.

Touch me and take all of me,
This is my final advice.
Ask me and I’ll set you free.

Tear at the eyes of deceit.
Being a victim no more.
Rage against being discreet,
Tearing the dark from your soul.

Knowing my names not enough,
You must know my face as well.
Hold up your hands and stand tough,
Blocking the gates down to hell.

What you have done in the past,
May be your debt in the end.
