You will witness me as I fall,
Never again will I be able to rise,
No more nights of lonely cries.

I now take my bow out of this world,
Never again will you see this miserable girl,
The one who suffered for so many years,
The one who cried a river of broken tears.

The curtain lays in wait above my head,
When it goes down I will soon be dead,
Goodbye to you all, this is farewell,
I can no longer live in my own hell.

This has been a heartbreaking play,
That has brought me to my end of day,
I am ragged from all life’s afflictions,
Woe has become my lifelong addiction.

This will be my very last act,
As death & I have sealed our pact,
To the river Styx I must go,
Watching as the dead waters flow.

This will be my last curtain call,
You will witness me as I fall,
Never again will I be able to rise,
No more nights of lonely cries.
