For those who need an explanation, and wonder why they cry
Who spend endless hours searching, to find the reason why
I offer a helping hand, to help them find a way
To live better lives, and brighten up their day
Some cry because they are happy, others because they are sad
Some cry because they have it so good, and far to many, who live to bad
No one lives a perfect life, or is happy all the time
Most people cry sometimes, which is surely not a crime
Everyone should try, to live a more balanced life
The women helping her husband, the husband helping his wife

A Helping Hand
For those who need an explanation, and wonder why they cry
Who spend endless hours searching, to find the reason why
I offer a helping hand, to help them find a way
To live better lives, and brighten up their day
Some cry because they are happy, others because they are sad
Some cry because they have it so good, and far to many, who live to bad
No one lives a perfect life, or is happy all the time
Most people cry sometimes, which is surely not a crime
Everyone should try, to live a more balanced life
The women helping her husband, the husband helping his wife
