No, I'll never be like you
But I know there's someone out there who thinks I'm better than the rest
Even if I'm not perfect, I enjoy my life all the way through

I may not be a super model
But that doesn't mean I'm not beautiful
I like to take my time and not live life full throttle
I know I don't have to drink or smoke for my friends to think I'm cool

I know I'm not an awesome singer
But I still sing along
Pat Benetar sings well, no I am not better than her
But I figure I'll sing along since I know all the words to her best song

I'm not the smartest kid in class
But that doesn't make me dumb
I don't need straight A's to pass
If I don't understand something, it will eventually come

I've got good morals and a very sweet heart
I try to enjoy every moment of every day
I realize now, I don't have to be pretty, popular, or smart

I'll never be the best
No, I'll never be like you
But I know there's someone out there who thinks I'm better than the rest
