But your sorrowful song
that is so cold to touch
Slips from my grasp and I fall
I fall from you
From a world I once knew
Now I cannot hear your call
And your sorrowful song
that once hurt me so much
Has taken my will, extinguished my spark

I fall to a place where I will not be found
And I wait on my own
For this pain to just end
Still I remember your face
I call for you
For the world I once knew
To come get me from this place
Could my life still be
the same if I just pretend
You didn’t leave me here

I try to hold onto your voice through the dark
But your sorrowful song
that is so cold to touch
Slips from my grasp and I fall
I fall from you
From a world I once knew
Now I cannot hear your call
And your sorrowful song
that once hurt me so much
Has taken my will, extinguished my spark

I fall to a place where I will not be found
And I wait on my own
For this pain to just end
Still I remember your face
I call for you
For the world I once knew
To come get me from this place
Could my life still be
the same if I just pretend
You didn’t leave me here
