I am forever, yet I am deceived.
why the lies, tell me eyes.
Or is it the truth I see?
Maybe the knowledge was lost to me.
How do I set myself free?
But that reflection staring back at me, it knows eternity.
Beast of burden I am, unknowing I be, all seeing and free.
Though my eyes are so tired now.
I think I will sleep..and rest 'till the day breaks to catch the first light of deceit.
The false vision that knows the rebirth of me.
Oh mortal eyes, why the lies?
Beast of burden I am, the fallen will rise.
Rise to the heavens, like a bird in it's sky....but for now, I must die.
My burden remains.
One second in time.
No rhythm or rhyme.
Just blood through my veins and a tear in my eye.
