as I have pain in my heart and tears in my eyes; just like the many other times before this day.
I love him with all my heart and soul and I’ll love him forever more,
but he's left my heart full of confusion and emotions making me empty and sore.
Will he understand me and not push me away and keep me in his heart,
If only there were another way we could be together and not apart.
I know he wants me and I need him too and I can't imagine being without,
But life's changes give stresses and strains leaving much to be thought about.
There's only hope that will get us through to a better place for us to be,
And that the worst won't rear its ugly head and take him away from me.
The rain has now stopped tonight, this autumn night, this night in the month of May,
but the rain in my heart is still falling inside as my problems decide to stay.

The rain falls heavily tonight, this autumn night, this night in the month of May,
as I have pain in my heart and tears in my eyes; just like the many other times before this day.
I love him with all my heart and soul and I’ll love him forever more,
but he's left my heart full of confusion and emotions making me empty and sore.
Will he understand me and not push me away and keep me in his heart,
If only there were another way we could be together and not apart.
I know he wants me and I need him too and I can't imagine being without,
