There are times when I think all is well
Until I catch a glimpse of your face,
Reminding me of what I've lost
And how things seem out of place.

There are moments within the day
When everything feels alright,
But then a memory paints itself
And my tears drown in the night.

There are times life goes on
And this is where I'm left behind
For everything is still the same
You're just no longer mine.
