[title] => FEEL GOOD TALES
[time] => 2020-04-25 19:41:29
[hometext] => Karma at work....
[bodytext] => We could use some good news to lighten up our day.
Here are five short tales that you can tuck away!
The attorney for the US president was defending a lawsuit.
A wealthy business threatened to bankrupt them too boot.
“I doubt it,”the attorney said, “we think you ought to know,
we have the cash available; we print our own you know."
Poachers were killing white Alaskan seals for fur,
which no amount of vigilance was able to deter.
Greenpeace sprayed each seal with an orange “X” to help.
It didn’t hurt the seals, but completely ruined the pelts.
The truck was wedged beneath the overpass, completely stuck.
Police and Fire, and street crews tried to free it with no luck.
When a small boy watching figured out what was required,
by asking if they’d tried to let the air out of the tires.
A killer ducked the death sentence on a technicality.
Though they gave him a life sentence, it was short apparently.
He tried to fix his radio on his cell’s stainless john.
He dropped it in the toilet, and instantly was gone.
A bank robber held up the Chase Manhatten in New York.
He stole $500,000, not a bad day’s work.
He ran outside to get away, but didn’t get too far.
While he robbed the bank, it seems that someone stole his car.
