The days that speed and the colors that mix,
a sight that dulls and leaves you sick.

You’ve felt it, haven’t you?
The looming dread of losing control,
enacting a war between your resolve and soul..

These are the fiery arrows I fight everyday,
It’s a kind of pain that never goes away
But though its presence truly never fades
A simple thought always seems to pervade…

What if? Two haunting words that never seem to leave.
What If? A string of questions that changes the way I breathe.
What if? Situations in life of which I/'/ll have to pay.
What if? Are the reasons of which I/'/m standing here today…

It/'/s crazy to think about and easy to forget
That these two words can cause more than just regret.
For these questions alone, tho they burden the soul
Bring us closer to change, and being made whole.

You’ve seen it, haven’t you?
