I was lost, heart-broke, she gives me shelter n comfort
I carry the pain, I wear a smile but it’s a strain

In her arms I can cuddle, in her arms it helps with the struggle
A path I walk alone, she lights the way n leads me home
She gives me strength when there is none to find, she helps me to see when I am blind

In her arms I don’t have to hide, in her arms I can clear my mind
When I’m stuck or confused, her kiss breaks me loose
When the tears fall she pulls me in n all is clam

In her arms I feel safe, in her arms the emotions aren’t fake
In her eyes a picture of paradise
In her embrace...my happy place.

In her arms I’m at peace, in her arms I can see
I was lost, heart-broke, she gives me shelter n comfort
I carry the pain, I wear a smile but it’s a strain
