Torn by the memory of days filled with light
Hidden by the mist, this cage and my prison
This now brittle child, this sleeper to life

Only in dreams I will smile at your silhouette
Climb up the sheer cliffs of doubt that enclose
Humanity mocks me, no words are comfort
The smile in the mirror sees nothing but lies

I am the ghost that follows the ghost
The wounded that waits for the wolves at the door
Christmas is bitter, soiled and sour
Sweetness was once, when I looked in your eyes

Cacophonous church bells scream through my mind
Life is a graveyard as I wait to die
Christmas a struggle, one more day to dwell

Christmas is broken
Torn by the memory of days filled with light
Hidden by the mist, this cage and my prison
This now brittle child, this sleeper to life

Only in dreams I will smile at your silhouette
Climb up the sheer cliffs of doubt that enclose
