Of Burgundy Creek
Where the mellow
Mesh with the meek
Marveled beauty of nature
For whom many come to seek
Wind swept stalks of wheat
Gently rustle as they speak
They call out to the wild
Down the mountain they sweep
The birds and bees
High and low in the trees
They too yearn for the call
Summer is now gone
Time to ready for the Fall

Whispering willows
Of Burgundy Creek
Where the mellow
Mesh with the meek
Marveled beauty of nature
For whom many come to seek
Wind swept stalks of wheat
Gently rustle as they speak
They call out to the wild
Down the mountain they sweep
The birds and bees
High and low in the trees
They too yearn for the call
Summer is now gone
Time to ready for the Fall
