I wasn*t too far along before I realized something was wrong
Come to think of it, I don*t know how to write a song
I watched my neighbor walk out his door
As he walked away he kept saying hello
That seemed awful weird wouldn*t you know
Later I sat in the park all alone
Just me and my cell phone
That made me think of the guy who said hello
While he walked away
Oh I guess tomorrow is another day
A few minutes later a sheep faced lady with baby blues
Walked by my way slowly and said
How do you do?
So I whispered softly
Eye love Ewe
It*s as if she didn/'/t know what to do
After that we were pretty much through
On my journey back home
Some drunken buffoon handed me a yellow coin
Come to find out it was fools gold
At least that was what I was told.
Later that day I met a man who offered me hope
While he smoked his dope
I told him it was just too bizarre for me to cope
The lesson learned so far is
Never wear a thong
While you*re writing a song
