raindrops falling on my skin
I marvel at this view
and the peace I`ve found within

lover`s arms wrap around my waist
encircle me and I am safe
I breathe you in so deep I taste
your soul as ours do interlace
my fingertips graze every groove
of your expanse and how it moves
pure eloquence, you are my muse
I trace the lines of your tattoos

I`ve left my mark on you
embedded so deep inside
so I`ll hold on to you
how matter how high the tides

your touch just takes my breath away
we`re falling free into the waves
as every piece of you I crave
and every single word you say
sense memories keep flooding me
and every time you`re loving me
I get so high, you`re drugging me

crisp September morning
