like i’ve never done before



i’d tell you how i smile skin deep
and what yours means to me
how i’m such a mess
how much i repress
i watch people step
on the kind things said
and done to no end
the whole time its me
so i smile skin deep
they judge what they see
so nice and pretty
so i hate and i leave
just appreciate me for me
