And know the frosty waves across the roof of earth
Will melt and pour the rains of May.

I stand on snowcapped mountain’s lofty perch,
Where it seems, the earth below is rendered lost
Within a sea of air inflated clouds,
So thick that I could sail across.

I gaze upon the unmade bed of clouds,
Where sunlight skips atop the day
And know the frosty waves across the roof of earth
Will melt and pour the rains of May.
