On The road again.
Memories rushing through my mind.
Just like a runaway freight train.
Sights and scenes shrined.

This time round not as a driver.
Yet still in a rig.
Imparting knowledge like McGyver.
Heading up this brig.

What a feeling.
Reliving days gone by.
This life is still appealing
Those days were an epic high.

But after twenty nine years on the road
It’s best left to the new blood.
I can’t reclaim the load.
Let them brave the flood.

I’ll watch with eagle eyes.
Guide them were I can.
Set them free under the African skies.
And call them Kinsman.

On The road again.
Memories rushing through my mind.
Just like a runaway freight train.
Sights and scenes shrined.

This time round not as a driver.
Yet still in a rig.
Imparting knowledge like McGyver.
Heading up this brig.

What a feeling.

Set them free under the African skies.
And call them Kinsman.
