My Quill is Cracked and dry.
My ink put is empty.
There are no words on my papyrus sheets.

I lie awake and ask myself why?
Thoughts and feelings I have plenty.
My heart skips not a beat.

Creative juices flows through my eyes.
Yet words now are not plenty.
I long so to write something sweet.

But I fear it will be a lie.
And the truth would not be worth a penny
So empty for now remains my papyrus sheets.

My Quill is Cracked and dry.
My ink put is empty.
