igniting loves flames
making me a shooting star
across the night sky I flow
a restless spirit
who has a conflicted soul

With the werewolfs I run
I am haunted by your ghost
as I try to repair the hole
that you left in my soul
when you deceived me with your lies
and then left me all alone

do you ever think of me
do you remember the times
I gave to you when you were in need
and you took everything
making promises
you never intended to keep

I stay awake at night
listening to water dripping into the sink
as I search my mind
trying to find why I let you in
and wondering how come some memories
take longer to fade away with time [comments] => 4 [counter] => 143 [topic] => 32 [informant] => unknown_utopia [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Water Dripping

Who do you think you are
igniting loves flames
making me a shooting star
across the night sky I flow
a restless spirit
who has a conflicted soul

With the werewolfs I run
I am haunted by your ghost
as I try to repair the hole
that you left in my soul
when you deceived me with your lies
and then left me all alone

do you ever think of me
do you remember the times
I gave to you when you were in need
and you took everything
making promises
you never intended to keep

I stay awake at night
listening to water dripping into the sink
as I search my mind
trying to find why I let you in
and wondering how come some memories
take longer to fade away with time
