i shed tonight
are my sole reminders
of what loneliness truly means
for i always knew

that my arrogant ways
would be my downfall

as days turn into nights
i wake up in tears
the same ones who
i fell asleep with
for no other love can undo this pain

for misery loves company
which it remains me
how this is my punishment
with each passing day
i say to myself
you had this day coming
for you reaped what you have sow

as the final tears fall to the ground
i look into the mirror and say

yeah i know [comments] => 3 [counter] => 104 [topic] => 24 [informant] => PreciousKitten [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LoveRemembered ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Had it coming
