Only the fall green grass grows on a dare
All the other vegetation awaits for warmer air
Silence in the woods this time of year is golden
A sight to see, something worth beholding
One`s spirit is forever emboldened
We all need to escape to our secret place
Give god all the glory and due grace
Disappear for a day in the woods without a trace
Immerse yourself in the beauty of this glorious earth
Strive to be happy, be at peace
Goodwill to all men, cheerfulness, and mirth [comments] => 6 [counter] => 184 [topic] => 27 [informant] => jamesstockdale [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Our Secret Place

Nearly making but a hint of a sound
Only the fall green grass grows on a dare
All the other vegetation awaits for warmer air
