Tree in the room

Sit and you like
That.

It doesn/'/t smell
Right and it
Doesn/'/t feel
Right and
There/'/s nothing
About it
That is right.

And fear is
Now voiced
In rage, screams
Biting and
Aggression
As you bark
At life!
Scream at
It/'/s cruelty

And peace is
Sought in trying
To Close your
Eyes.

I don/'/t want you
To be here.
Here where you
You
Shouldn/'/t be.

And in
Lucidity
You know.

I go to the old
Places and
Familiar faces
And tell them
You won/'/t be
Coming home

But the tears
Are reserved
For us.
