Her wings were so bright
So colorful and lovely
And every day she would find me
And flutter onto my shoulder
One day I was waiting for her
Instead there came a wasp
She buzzed around my head
And I batted her away
And then she stung me
On my ear and my nose
Then on my shoulder
Where the butterfly once sat
I swatted again
And she buzzed away
And away down the road
I then met and Imp
She saw me and she giggled
At the bumps on my ear
And on my nose and shoulder
I asked her "what is so funny"
She giggled again
Then leaped onto my shoulder
And buzzed in my ear
Then she turned into a butterfly
And fluttered away [comments] => 1 [counter] => 140 [topic] => 43 [informant] => nightwolf [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops ) Your Poetry Dot Com - The Imp
