Nobody listens, nobody heeds me?

With no one to rally, and no one to praise?
Out in my pasture, left here to graze.

No battles to fight; no goals to achieve;
What will I do when its time that I leave?

When I am gone my desk will be foraged,
My projects boxed up and taken to storage.

Others will come in place of myself;
All that I was will be left on a shelf.

Do what you can, while you can, lest you rust;
Those who cannot are gathering dust.
