Behind the scenes,
Yet ever near,
These beauties grant such dreams,
The quintessential joy
Bestowed in form of girl or boy,
Such an uncelebrated way of life,
Wonderful but not bereft of strife
Oh to recognise humble midwife!

A new day dawns where once was none,
In the mind of a child, daughter or son,
Clear thought and process taught,
Our midwife does all to smooth nature,
To smile or cry they can only do later,
For now, they do their best,
To ensure that mum passes,
This quite brutal test,
...with that diligence, love and care,
Fecund earth becomes forest floor,
...corporeal something more!

Do not forget them,
Our midwifes,
Working hard,
To enrich our lives,
Everyday they face the breach,
And for our souls they might reach,
To divine a glow,
That on the world,
They would bestow,

If I were to impart much,
It would be to echo such...
Do not forget, by each life,
Stands gorgeous & modest /'/our/'/ midwife!
