I think it`s all been penned.
Repeating the same old thing
a change around the bend.
The change just never happens
new birds never sing.
In spite of the birds` silence
we do the same old thing.

We`re the ones over the hill
we`ve slid and now we`re down.
Turned around, we`re facing it,
the dirt, the same old brown.

We climb that same old hill again
Insanity impending.
Up and down, we`re teetering
the climb is never ending.

They say that it`s insanity...
I think it`s all been penned.
Repeating the same old thing
a change around the bend.
The change just never happens
