Straight through town,
and throughout the motherland.
Pretty sunsets, sprinkled
like love adorned,
but waves could come crashing
and I should be warned-
Tides could be high,
and clouds could be dark
Love can have thorns
that pierce your heart...
Roses and vines
as beautiful as could be
could crawl up the fence
and be quite prickly and thorny.
For all the creatures
that prance through the grass,
some can be friendly, but...
others will bite your ***
Pretty is not always
the most wise,
for disgusting, wicked things
can lurk in disguise.

Seashells sprinkled
on the sand,
