air conditioned, and sprayed with perfume
Sitting on the lumpy bed
willing the thoughts of you from my head
Heart is jumpy, nerves are weak
sitting up I cannot speak
I feel like I am drifting down
there/'/s not a peep, nor a sound
Then all of a sudden I hear a knock
I walk to the door, and it hits me like a block,

There/'/s no peephole...

Should I open the door or not,
my heart was jumping, I was fraught
I put my ear to the door
trying to listen closely for more

All of a sudden, I hear a voice
my nerves jump as I rejoice,
"Hello, are you in there my sweet
its so silent in there, there/'/s hardly a peep.
I wish to hold you, and love you as long as I can
for my knees are weak, I can barely stand.
I brought your favorite flowers and dinner for two
I can hardly describe how much I love you."

I open the door and no one is there
it seems to me that the hallway is bare.
How can than be, I just heard a voice,
or was that my imagination making a choice?

I woke up on the bed from a deep sleep
hardly a sound, nor a peep.
Midnight from what it seems
I got rick-rolled by my own freaking dream.
