All around, beyond my soul/'/s deepest vision
pines sigh heavy above my cloaked heart,
echoing in surrender, snow above to below;
white fluff of tons so airy it crushes me
in beauty-
hurts my lonely smile for the pines.

All day,
from the sun peeking inside early me,
lighting chambers where sorrow and joy roam
to soft clutching-
past indifferent trunks,
crying needle/'/s tears glisten to lunar claim,
this softer lumen points, begs the way to sleep-
feet no longer listen to my soaked in life brain;
toes leading deeper in the white,
beyond command these footsteps feign
progress that only I see-

My lonely smile commiserates the sorrow-joy of sighing trees.
