thoughts scrambling like spiders
these visitors who hide among us
as the town hums through brick walls

a triangle of silence the hollow
inside ink into words a crow
shatters sky with cawing
the sound of a moth in the city

the subtle incandescent dark
of night breathes like flood water
seeping under the door
my what big eyes you have

a shadow underneath everything
said and a rotted pier over a winter lake
all the emptiness touching me as the
ignorable why skips around a lot

there is a glitter in her eyes
even when you/'/re playing
the other player sometimes
it cracks like lightning right between

your viewpoint.
