[hometext] => i can't quite tell you how powerful this poem is to me. it's my 196th, by the way.
[bodytext] => Seven Words.
i hang out with me a lot, and i see the way i work.
i see the way the pen, Overcome with what i've done, tears my hand from me and uses it to bleed bleed bleed for me.
i see the way i have no choice but to hang on to the pen and
think every thought about every word that ever rhymed with the thing that was farthest from it, but yet defined it.
i see the life i lead,...the lie i love.
i see the last of the lost loves i left, laughing behind unkind scars dressed in what looks like the skin i was born in.
i see the way its not the shiver i Shun but rather the shiniest rays of the sun
i also feel.
i feel the urge to Creep under my Awakened Shadow...
i feel like using grit and poison to Ignite what feels like feelings,
knowing what is sparked is indeed revealed to be
Nothing...
wearing a breathing, greasy smile, cold with a sideways twist.
and Nothing is best left undone, unmade. Unknown. Ungrown.
i see the way i Ignite my dark-complete.
i see the way i sold my light-complete.
i see the way the lies unfold-complete.
i see the way the truth, untold, secretes.
i see everything, everyone, everywhere that ever was,
this very day. this scary place. this harried pace to save the buried.
Alive.
