[hometext] => a little piece on the vagaries of life
[bodytext] =>
When I was young,
I couldn't wait to be older;
Now that I'm older,
and the fodder of life
has dropped like manure,
I'm far less bold;
not likely to leap the creek,
wouldn't go near a wasp nest,
won't traipse in the woods without
knowing where I'm going.
Now that I'm older,
I just want to be young.
