This whole thing is so wrong,
I mean you were always there when I needed a hand
and now you're not and i don't understand
We'd book shows together, and sing to eachother set's
We'd get drunk together, and smoke cigarettes
Now a friend is gone, one whom we'll never forget
Jamie, you will be missed

I can't believe we won't talk again
It doesn't feel real, waiting for my eyes to open.
Now your work is not left unsung
I guess Billy Joel was right, only the good die young
We'd joke around together, and see a movie or hit a bar
We even worked together, I'd pick you up in my car
But now my friend is gone, one whom I'll never forget
Jamie, you will be missed

You were 20 times the writer I am
But I hope this finds you well
I don't know if these chords or my sloppy words
will mean much, only time will tell
all I know is I'll miss you
and this ***** hurts like hell.

I'll miss you man.
so damn much
Later days,
stay in touch
