There you all were again
speaking sharp tongued.
Teasing me,taunting me
my fine dark feathered ones.

I caught you today
but never snatched a feather.
You trick me so
flitting to and fro
sky riding suddenly
to the sun.

Just above my reach
just out of my sight.
Hiding tall above me
Chatter talk, delight
or trickery?

Once in awhile
a shadow passes
my memory
and fades off into another time.
Away they flew with you
fine tuned
dark shadows
Away flew the Crow.
