as I get hit
and start to bleed,
I slowly fade
into the shadows
and I hope I heal one more time.
A strobe light pulsates
Illuminating a battlefield
littered with so many crippled pilgrims who died
and the visions of their bodies
zombie dance
deep into my mind.

It's a nightmare
in the war zone of the burning confusion
and I
I am fighting so many emotions...
I fear I will appear crazy
if I ever let them out.
Back into the shadows I fade
and hope to heal
before emotional torture attacks me again,
I'm starting to wonder
If I have already
transformed
into a zombie.

I sway
as I get hit
and start to bleed,
I slowly fade
into the shadows
and I hope I heal one more time.
A strobe light pulsates
Illuminating a battlefield
littered with so many crippled pilgrims who died
and the visions of their bodies
zombie dance
deep into my mind.

It's a nightmare
in the war zone of the burning confusion
and I
I am fighting so many emotions...
I fear I will appear crazy
if I ever let them out.
Back into the shadows I fade
and hope to heal
before emotional torture attacks me again,
I'm starting to wonder
If I have already
transformed
into a zombie.
