Whatever may wait

I will never know
I march forward while looking back
I never know where to go

If only I'd watch where I'm going
Like water wilting a stone
I march on I feel so alone

A machine automaton my gears full of rust
Marching until ashes to ashes dust to dust
I feel cold like a machine shell

Why is this me
Why am I in this hell

I march on to whatever may wait
Turning to see a new dawn

And there I will face my judgement [comments] => 3 [counter] => 252 [topic] => 43 [informant] => voice of the silent [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops ) Your Poetry Dot Com - I March on

Topic: Sad Poetry

Contributed By: voice of the silent

I march on toward my fate
Whatever may wait

I will never know
I march forward while looking back
I never know where to go

If only I'd watch where I'm going
Like water wilting a stone
I march on I feel so alone

A machine automaton my gears full of rust
Marching until ashes to ashes dust to dust
I feel cold like a machine shell

Why is this me
Why am I in this hell

I march on to whatever may wait
Turning to see a new dawn

And there I will face my judgement
